What is NLP?

NLP was originally established by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in 1975. Their initial intention was to discover how certain individuals had become excellent communicators, and to create models of this behaviour, which would then enable them to teach others how to be as equally as effective. They initially studied Milton Erikson, Fritz Perls and Virginia Satir, although many others have contributed to its growth over the years.

As a field it continues to evolve, finding new and extraordinary possibilities. You can continue to learn more about yourself and the environment in which you live everyday by having access to these skills.

From the models in NLP a whole host of techniques have been created, to enable you to change your thought processes, behaviours and beliefs, and to remove any limitations about yourself which you have created during your life’s journey, allowing you to be the person you really want to be in life. It’s also about choice, you can learn to control how you behave, be aware of your emotional and physical states, and have the power to determine how you and others communicate and interact by using verbal and non-verbal language.

Once you have completed a course in NLP you will find that you feel happier, more purposeful and more creative, thus preparing you to deal with all kinds of experiences in a more positive and productive way. The approach of NLP is so real that you will see, hear and feel the results almost immediately.
