What can I expect?
Our approach works on the basis that everyone is different. Everyone has been on their own unique journey through life and though we may often have problems that present in similar ways the causes can be different. So the approach is unique and personal. From the clients perspective the process is very simple; you need to be honest with yourself and your therapist and as far as you are able to follow instructions. Typically a first session of two to three hours will be conducted. This session will explore your past life and current situation and problems. From this a plan as to what therapeutic interventions are required will be determined. This is a process of understanding the present in the context of past so that unwanted patterns or behaviours can be let go or changed. As a general guide from start to finish you should expect time with your Practitioner to last for six to nine hours in total over a period which suits you and your circumstances. At the end of each session you may be assigned specific tasks to do; these are designed to help either bring patterns into conscious awareness or to reinforce change that has already begun to take place. These tasks are as important as any work done in the session with your chosen Practitioner and need to be undertaken to get the best results.
